Dr. Gridlock: New I-395 lane should ease morning commute

The Virginia Department of Transportation has just completed an auxiliary lane that should help traffic in a very crowded stretch of Interstate 395 just north of the Capital Beltway.This new lane on the right side of the highway stretches eight-tenths of a mile from the I-395 on-ramp at Duke Street to the off-ramp at Seminary Road. This should help with traffic heading for the Mark Center at Seminary Road, one of the Northern Virginia facilities that added personnel because of the federal Base Realignment and Closing program.Read full article >>
